Bay Ambulance is fortunate to have a very dedicated group of people that give up days off and have work, meals, family time, holidays and interrupted sleep to provide exceptional care to our community. This dedication also involves training.
EMS is a very physically and emotionally demanding job. It takes many hours of training to be prepared for any situation that an EMS provider's care could be called for. This training translates to the ability to provide care to patients that may be having their worst day ever and is extremely rewarding.
In addition, it takes countless hours of continuing education to be prepared to be at your best at all times. Training involves updating clinical knowledge and refreshing practical skills. Use of make-up (as seen in some photos) provides realism to our training
"Warning" Some photos may be graphic, none of the photos of injuries are real, all injuries are moulage "fake".
